Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

Just like the previous version, this game is blowing my mind. got it yesterday after work and played till 230am...ima have to play it again because i was so tired i cant even remember the shit.

i dont know if i almost finished the game also playing that long straight through. ive done a shit storm of missions and it feels like its about to come to a end cuz im trying to capture some fugitive guy.

anyways, if you dont have this game for xbox360 or ps3, your missing out!

well i beat the game. i was impressed at first, but the levels just feel...short..much shorter than the last modern warfare. not happy about that ;(

The game is excellent, the invasion scene of virginia towards the beginning was absolutly phenominal

But of course Im much more of a multiplayer gamer so I would say that is where this game really shines

i havent played it online yet. i dont buy those microsoft online packages..although i should. is there a way to get free online for the xbox yet? last i looked, long time ago, it was eliminated....

I sat down and played for 7 hours straight, I beat the game and it was decent. I'm stuck on the special ops, the wave in the tacobell level, I get to the 4th wave and get blown up either by the drone or grenade. If a 'nade is thrown at me I panic and either try to get low or run and my decision making costs time. One time I ran in time and the drone got me, I was pissed. I don't have online. My opinion on the weapons...

ASSAULT

AK47 - looks new and has stopping power with 7.62mm but I never use it, it's so run of the mill and m203 looks funny.

FAL - with/shotty/acog/thermal is good but not for indoors. Without a scope it's kind of useless because iron sights are hard to use. If you don't take the shotty attachment than also use a pistol for close range. Doesn't take up much ammo, with the acog its very accurate, one of the best weapons just for single shot.

MP5k - silenced it's cool but otherwise useless, better than f2000 and smaller weapons like sub machine guns.

M240 - innaccurate but can take down a lot of enemies, big clip, best used indoors with a reddot sight or heartbeat sensor, good if you get surrounded in a building and need to wait it out, I usually keep it as a secondary.

M4 M203 & silenced - nice iron sights, looks, 5.56 takes 3 rounds to put one down if not in the chest.

SCAR-H - bad/huge iron sights with 7.62 and slow firing, it's decent.

FAMAS - burst makes it useless but it does fire quick, I don't use it.

M16 - good for taking down enemies when you know you'll miss, with it's burst firing, otherwise a waste of ammo.

ACR - better than the M4, feels more accurate, sounds better.

M14 EBR - doesn't piss you off from inaccuracy like the M21 from COD4 but still isn't worth having unless you need it for thermal.

TAR 21 & F2000 are crap.

SUB MACHINE

Uzi akimbo is fun and better than dual rangers, the P90 has the most ammo, and the UMP has the distance if the vector is a 9mm

LIGHT MACHINE

AUG & L86 are best, MG4 too much recoil, rpd are shit, M240 is good, same damage as m4 though.

Sniper rifles are useless although it's fun to see em fly around, if you want long range than use an FAL acog or M14 thermal.

Glock 18 akimbo is good but not as good as the uzi's, good for clearing indoors when you run out of primary ammo.

The AA12 shoots too fast, wasting ammo and lots of reloading but it's damn fun.

HANDGUNS

USP has too much recoil when taking multiple shots, the DE is shit because of the recoil and slow fire rate, the M9 is perfect because of low recoil and 15 in a clip, the .44 is useless with less ammo than a DE and about the same damage. Handguns are drawn faster than larger secondaries. I never go into a place without reloading, if nothing is around I'll prefer a USP silenced.

CODMW2 is too fast stoned, although I beat that fucking 5th wave on Special Ops Charlie/Homeland security by sitting in the kitchen, I layed down for most of them, they don't show up on your map unless you pop up, so periodically do that, get the asshole in the corner and you'll be ok if you just watch that one corner. They'll throw flash bangs and grenades but they won't hurt you behind the counter. Pop up, even if there are assholes, I did it on veteran and didn't die, just go prone and get em when they go around the counter. I did this mission like 20 times before I thought of that. I used an RPD red dot & M240 acog with 2 turrets side by side around back of the burger king thing. I needed 1 more star to get to the next stage so I beat the training mission on veteran with a scar-h foregrip & m9. Havn't played 2 player yet, can't wait.

deff favorite game, story play was dank but short, online is raw, and for spec opps i have all the stars except 2, i can't beat the jugg one where yyou only get explosives, ive only beat it on regular, its soo hard, deff dank as fuckkkk online llove the m16 with holographic and silencer SICKKK

To beat the juggerfucks in the Favela you have to run around the outside using the corners as covering & firing positions, reloading every trip. Do it quick so you don't have two coming at you from two directions. Wait until you have 2 or 3 chasing you, place C4 (10 will do it but that's all you get so try 1) in a corner where they'll be close to eachother, just so you maximize the C4 useage because it works. You don't have to stand watch and wait to hit the C4 clicker, you want to shoot a grenade for a chain reaction, if you stand around you'll get shot, so just pop out real quick when the red dot is coming around the corner. The claymore doesn't do anything. I setup 10 claymores and they don't go off at the same time if you place one, take a step back, place one. What happened was I heard 10 explosions within 2 seconds of eachother and he was still alive. You might want to use 1 claymore to C4 for a trip wire, you run to the next corner and do it again. If you want to kill 3+ in a corner than place 2+ C4 and 1 claymores, place them so that when the juggerfuck in the lead passes a point, the juggerfucks behind him, or around the same corner, get it too. I'm not going to attempt anything else as I just unlocked 40 stars and beat explosives only on regular, my heartrate was pretty high when I beat it lol. It would have been better if there were a C4 reload.

The best gun is the AK47 grenadier with an ACOG because it's 7.62mm, if you can do that? Even without an ACOG the iron sight is good. I havn't played online. The M16 iron sights are hard to aim because you can barely see it, the M4 has the best iron sight because it's large and upclose. The glock 18 or USP is the best sidearm (and you do draw a pistol faster than whatever else), it's reload time is fast. The G18 would be even better if it had single shot because it has even less recoil than the M9. InfinityWard forgot that many people shoot left handed and can also switch hands, or have to switch hands because of available corner protection. They should have made the glock come in 9mm, .45, .45acp, .10mm, .357, all of the cartridges. They didn't really need the desert eagle. In combat it's heavy with lots of recoil with a little mag. Why didn't they put a scope on it? Why doesn't the player switch hands for opposite corners? They'd never look out of a doorway with their gun on the opposite side! It's soooo dumb.

Which ones that the Rock Shower Scene? Definatly wasnt on Veteran, I just did that one myself did it in 1:26 seconds and that was crazy hard. Ran straight down the middle with the automatic Shotgun, flashbanged the shield guys in the middle and stole one of their shields to make it the rest of the way

It's on youtube, that person did it in lower than the IW time, about 21 seconds. After watching the video I attempted it twice and got 26 seconds on veteran single player. Start with the M4 and shoot everyone in the hall. Switch to the shotgun and straffe right and kill 3 or 4. Right after going into the room with lockers throw a flashbang and stick to the right, use the shotgun to clear a path and run/jump. If you're getting shot than go left/right. I can't do search & grab or the one at the house in the woods. M240 does hurt juggers, M203 kind of, grenades knives and claymores no. Why no C4 reload?

Absolutly. I like to combine throwing knives with my shield class, very effective combo.
